U.S. Education Department Green Ribbon Schools Program. This program from U.S. E..D outlines criteria for schools to use to become greener in three Pillars - bulding and grounds, health, and education. Missouri is not currenly participating in the program, but the criteria are still a good guide to key steps a school schould take.
