Join or Renew a MEEA Membership
MEEA membership includes a monthly E-Newsletter with education and environmental news, upcoming grants, and upcoming professional development workshops. It also covers members only access to the most recent newsletter, to the grants page and the professional development workshop.
Membership also helps us connect with you as an important environmental education resource in Missouri! Through our email alerts, you can help people in your region connect with local resources and expertise. You can can contribute to developing a framework for assessing environmental literacy in Missouri, provide ideas for stories we should cover, and point us towards lessons, curricula, grants and workshops we don't know about.
Please consider joining MEEA today to help advance Environmental Literacy in Missouri!
- A Professional ($15), Retiree ($7.50), or Student Membership ($7.50) includes a monthly e-newsletter, and access to the member's only professional development and grants pages on the website. It also entitles you to vote in organization elections.
- A K-12 School Membership ($50) is non-voting but entitles four persons from the school to receive the member's benefits listed above.
- An Institution, Agency, Organization or Business Membership ($100) is non-voting but entitles four persons from the school to receive the member's benefits listed above and to be listed on our home page as a MEEA Member Organization.
To join or renew by mail, download a pdf of a membership form here, fill it out, make out a check to MEEA and mail it to MEEA, P.O. Box 13, Columbia MO 65205
To join on-line using paypal, follow the directions below.
Choose your membership category, then hit the Add to Cart button to be linked to the PayPal site. If you are adding multiple memberships, just change the number of items in your shopping cart. If you are adding different categories of membership, just hit continue shopping to come back to this site to make additional choices.

After purchasing membership(s) on-line please email Jan Weaver at weaverjc@missouri.edu this information for each person:
- Name
- Affiliation (School, Park, Business, Non-Profit, etc.)
- Type of Work (Grade taught, Interpretation, Administration, etc.)
- Preferred Mailing Address
- Preferred Phone Number (please indicate if it is home or work)
- County (so I know which regional group to put the email in)
