MEEA Teams
Purpose Team
This team is responsible for creating, planning and implementing the activities that directly serve professional development. In particular the annual conference and the certification program. The team is led by one or more board members and is open to all board members.
People Team
This team is responsible for membership development and retention, for internal and external communication (newsletter, enews, website) and for stakeholder relations (MDC, DNR, Envirothon, AMI, etc.). The team is led by one or more at large board members and is open to all members.
Resources Team
This team is responsible for identifying and securing the human and financial resources MEEA needs to accomplish its goals. The team is led by one or more at large board members and is open to all members.
Structure Team
This team is responsible for organizing long term planning efforts, reviewing the by-laws and ensuring MEEA is in compliance with all state and federal regulations governing not-for-profit organizations. The membership consists of the Officers.
